Has Lane Kiffin already beaten Urban Meyer?

He called out the defending National Champions during his press conference, stating “It's going to be fun hearing ‘Rocky Top' after we beat Florida next year!”.

I hate that everyone is bringing up this statement without the "Mike told me to say that" afterwards.

not even close to a moral victory

Posting quotes on the lockerroom wall from a washed out NFL coach that now coaches a team that went 5-7 and has never beaten Urban since he started at UF?

I'd say Kiffin has struck a nerve if nothing else.

I've already said it, Kiffin has put all the pressure on Urban.

With a orange power T on all of them. Which is great, because like kiffin said they will see the T and think of UT. Then they will visit and hopefully commit to us. GO VOLS!!!!

I love how you guys think that the miscues by Kiffin can be spun into points against a team that is simply much better.

Ever thought of making that your signature?

I was going to make it a false accusation, followed by a fraudulent claim that I intended to make the false accusation so as to psych you out.

But then I realized Kiffin would sue me for copyright infringement.

Timmy cried like a baby? All I remember is his promise. And then him delivering on it.

We will see if Herr Kiffin can do the same. Not at all convinced yet that he has what it takes.

Good thing "the promise" is commerated by a plaque and not an actual audio recording of the speech. He sounds like a hyperventilating 3rd grader showing off his Pokemon cards every time he speaks. . .see Heisman acceptance speech as an example.

I love how an AD that listened and allowed Spurrier to take jabs at every coach in America turned Kiffin in.

I love how a coach with 2 national championships in 3 years is immature enough to fall for it.

I love how one of Tennessee's biggest rivals has Tennessee's head coach in their locker room.

I love the fact that ESPN hasn't quit talking about Kiffin since he was hired here.

Apparently Houston Nutt had what it takes with a team that couldn't handle Vanderbilt.

Did you listen to Kiffin or see the video? He's like a shrill adolescent whining that he wasn't voted head cheerleader.

As to Tebow, he speaks on the field. Where it counts. Not in interviews with athlete-wanna-be's.

Who has been the most interviewed sappy player in college ball for the past two seasons? The overhyped choirboy thing couldn't have been more overplayed if it were about John the Baptist.

Well, we know ESPN loves him. He's the Christian Laettner of college football, and he will have a similar pro career if he is lucky. :)
