Has Kahlil McKenzie played?

He had a green shirt on in practice.I really think there getting him adjusted to the speed. Also we played a no huddle fast paced team that wont sub.Playing the sooners the vols have no choice but to rotate vickers,obrian.williams,tuttle.k mac,Saulsberry to play with young OU young line. OU Stuggled with akon line for first half. There all mighty rb ran 11 for 28 1 td gonna be a good game

Saulsberry not available. he is helping coach but will not play.

Mac was winded after two plays Saturday. Don't be surprised if he is used very little this season. Hard to get into game shape in 6 weeks and he is not there, not close.

so we have 4 DTs that can be counted on this week..

UT Martin is a very low level FCS program. They will not compete for the OVC championship.

Bowling Green is predicted to win their division of one of the stronger mid major FBS conferences. MAC has dominated the sun belt conference in recent yrs such as western key, middle tennessee and Arkansas St. The MAC has wins in recent yrs over Big Ten teams.

There is no comparison.

Other than Tennessee, I follow arguably the MAC's premier team in CMU, and holder of the Michigan cup in 2013, until WMU got lucky..I can attest, Bowling Green is legit. Now, if Tennessee had played EMU. That is a joke of a school. An even bigger joke than Western.

Back to the actual topic of the thread.....

I was there, yes he did come in to play the same time dormady came in as qb so he played a couple of series.

He was getting double teamed most of the time from what I could see

They've moved him to OL? He can block two dudes by himself? Sounds like a wise move.

Oklahoma threw 42 passes Saturday against Akron expect more of the same against Tennessee.

I think he meant you won't see them throwing up 9 routes every play hoping to hit on a bomb. They'll pass alot, but they will probably be more sound.

Western Kentucky beat Bowling Green 59-31 last season. Good news though neither Western Kentucky or MTSU are in the Sunbelt conference.

Toledo, Northern Illinois?

After watching the BGSU film I would say the go route may be a big part of the Oklahoma game plan Saturday after all.

that's distressing, better than last year when we only had 3 but not enough for a long season..so the 4 are O'Brien, Williams, Vickers, and Tuttle?

If Bowling Green can score 30 or maybe 40 on us, just what do you think is going to happen when we face a really good team like Oklahoma. You don't have to be a genius to put 2+2 together, or maybe that's just too hard for some folks on here.

OK won't go for it on fourth down deep in their own territory. When you play a structured team with an Xbox mentality and a decent QB you might score points. OK will be more conventional. We'll be fine.

yeah. sure they can slide some DEs down from time to time. Perhaps McKenzie gets to where he can be effective but not sure how long that may take. He will struggle against fast paced offenses for a while

after OU we dont play a faster paced offense for about 6-7 weeks. WCU, UGA, UF, Arky, Bama dont run any of that type stuff. Bama only did it last yr bc of Blake Sims.

KMac needs to be running every single place he goes!

We need that big boy ready for as many plays as he can handle.

In my pre-season predictions I was counting on him and King Tut to be making impactful plays this year.

C'mon big guys, run all the time daily and rest up on Thursday and Friday to be full go on Saturday.

NOW is the time to start showing the world how great the Tennessee D line really is!

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

Arguably the best, yes. Those other teams dont ring a bell. The only teams i care about are the Sweater Vest wearing WMU jackals and EMU Detroit JUCO rejects.

:crazy::crazy:

Do not get how he was not game day ready considering what he had access to with his dad being Raiders GM. That is troubling to hear that he was winded after 2 plays.

Eh. After Bowling Green and OU the tempo will start to slow down from an opponent's perspective. Kahlil is a hard worker and I believe he'll be on the field sooner than later.
