Has Jim Chaney attended all 3 practices so far?

Highly doubtful. Chaney is so high risk that he can get covid at the mere mention of covid.

This also should temper a lot of offensive expectations as the weak links in the chain are getting about 0 face to face coaching with Chaney. I think he has had 2 or 3 practices all year (spring).
Always so positive

If the offense does not improve this year , he can stay gone.

While not perfect hes a great OC. Ask uga what happened when he left. Enough said. The reason they didnt win national title and sec was due to kirby's vaunted defenses giving up tons of points. Offense did enough to win at uga every year

Like most coaches, Chaney is only great when he has talent that is superior to the competition.
Tennessee's roster is not close to what he had at Georgia.
Without a quarterback and a couple of All-American running backs, his system will not work any better than anyone else's.

Hard to please some people, I'm glad we have Chaney.

I am glad we have Chaney. Better than anything we have had since Cut.
We do not have a roster full of top level players.
No OC will be great until we do have.
Jimmies and Joes. Always has been, always will be. Pee-Wee to the NFL.
OK, I can agree with this. Thank you for the respectful reply. Just combined with your first "stay gone" post, it seemed a little over the top critical. After all, if only talent mattered the B.Jones would have been a success.

We are finally getting lot of Jimmies and Joes that can play football. Most are young but very talented. I expect more very good players to be signed in Dec/Feb. We are in the best shape we have been in the last 10/12 years. Happy days are on the way. Lets just hope they will be able to play the games and we will able to go and watch them.

You missed the poi t how great was uga offense last year with still a ridiculous amount of talent? Chaney was better OC than who they had last year

Not sure about that.
Yes, he is obese.
But, unless he is diabetic or has respiratory or heart problems, he may not be.
He is not over 65 which is the biggest risk factor.

More and more they are finding that obesity is a major risk to the severity of infection (after age). People who are obese are nearly 50% more likely to be hospitalized/placed in intensive care compared to other patients.

Lol! We don't let logic get in the way of posting stupid comments on VN. We can always get Gruden......
Coach worship is never a good thing, produce or be gone.
The point was that no HC,OC, or DC can be great without great players.
Vol recruiting is improving. It will soon be time for results.
Anyone who thinks the Vol offense improved last year needs to take off their orange goggles.
We were curb stomped , again, by the teams we all want to compete with because the offense sucks.

We did improve our offense over the course of the season. Offensive line went from mice to men, Gray emerged as a real talent. We saw how good the offense was when we got good QB play.
