I know d young had a concussion and didn't play last Saturday and was wondering if he has been cleared yet to play against Mizzou??

Agreed! I just don't wanna see hunter anymore back their returning punts....so that's why I was askin bout young! Not really bout the RB situation....lane got that locked up now until neal is 100%

I'm not sure of the procedure at UT. I know at some places athletes that suffered a concussion take tests every day to check their cognitive abilities. If they pass, they can be cleared. He could be cleared any day. Just depends on the tests.

I don't think it was a good idea,, but possibly helped him in confidence of catching the FOOTBALL !!!

Dooley said today that they evaluated him Thursday and he was not quite ready yet so if he was close Thursday maybe he will be ready by this Saturday.

Why? Just concerned ? He isn't a difference maker. With our O-Line, an SEC caliber RB---Travis Stephens type would be rolling over 1000 yds.

Wonder if the Defense has been cleared to play ... they haven't shown up as a group lately. It's time that they did. We need 'em bad!

I know I'll catch hell for this, but I never really understood the Devrin Young love on this board--other than the fact he catches the ball and "leads" in punt return yardage or whatever. The kid never should have gotten a scholarship. He's a nice little story but he wouldn't be playing for any upper echelon program--and I defy anyone to prove me wrong.

who brings very little to the party. Another diamond in the rough Dooley signed. He has been less than dynamic at anytime this year. Had a couple of good returns last year but compared to CP he is marginal.
