Why your season is sucking so bad? Every report or news conference i read, he just says " Well if your in it long enough there are going to be ups and downs" or something of that nature. Is that not starting to pee you guys off? At least when we struggle Spurrier steps up to the plate and ALWAYS says, " We got to coach'em better" or at least gives the paying fans some kind of logic to the loss. Just wondering....Not intend to be smack

Has any coach in South Carolina history ever adequately answered the question "Why is your program a historical laughingstock?"

Didnt figure i could get an answer out of anyone. Just smack as i clearly posted i wasnt shooting for. I expected a Vandy comment from utvolpj, i looked at my post and every return comment from him has been Vandy related but 2, haha. Man- he ought to be a Clemson fan.

I know you said this isn't intended "to be smack."

But what are you really expecting to get from this?

What do you expect Fulmer to say? "We suck real bad and I have no clue how to keep the ship afloat?"

He has given basic coach-speak for awhile now, and will continue to do so until he is either fired or resigns. And that includes quotes about him and his staff needing to do better.

Seems like you are trying to stir the pot and rub a little salt in the wounds to me.

maybe it's because you come on here to talk smack but don't realize your team is not that much better, if at all. The fact you also can't realize that the traditional doormat of the SEC now has a 2 game streak on your powerhouse program with the HOF coach.

We are disappointed in our coach not competing for titles and your program is content to have never even tried.

Does not look as if you will get an answer to your question either.
Not that my thoughts matter to anyone here, but FWIW. No matter who the OC is the plays have to go by Fulmer before they go to the players. I don't think the OC at Tn is all that bad, but if you look this is pretty much the same offense UT was running ten years ago. I think a player even said, about the UF game, seemed like they knew what play we were going to run before we lined up. Phil needs to let the OC run the offense. You do see a few wrinkles here and there, but it is still the same outdated scheme.
I don't like to see any team in the SEC just plain down. I didn't like to see AU get slapped by WV or Duke beating Vandy. A couple of weeks into the season everyone marveled at how strong the SEC was, now they are saying there are only 3 good teams in the SEC this year. I hope UT, AU and LSU and all the SEC does well outside the SEC and the blow outs among each other doesn't help either, but style points matter I guess.

No- were not content, but were also not idiots. I looked at the Bama score predictions on here and laughed my a$$ off. You guys have lights burnt out on your side of the score board in the double digits section and some people were predicting 48-17 Tennesee!! I also seen a thread TODAY that said you are now officially out of the SEC East race. I mean c'mon!!!! You been out of that since week 2! We have too, i know that, so dont waste your precious time on a notourious Vandy comment. But anyway, back to the subject, Fulmer dodges bullets every press conjunction about everything. It's time he stood up and said, "I'm the reason, we have some talent."

I want Tennessee to win this week for the sole reason to get "number5iscoming4u" off this board. You are the biggest troll this board has ever seen. I put money if UT wins this week you will never be seen on here again....I can also see if South Carolilna wins, you coming on here and posting all sorts of garbage. Point is, if everything on here "quirks" you so bad, then why post. Go to a South Carolina board where you can talk about mediocrity your team has endured forever. If UT keeps losing we may have some SC fans jump ship cause they are used to medocrity.

Guys, everyone is coming out of the woodwork because they recognize this is finally their year to beat us, and kick us while we're down. I'm not happy with the state of the program, and I haven't been for a couple of years. Take your wins while you still can because someday we'll be back...I think.
