Truly heartbreaking. This guy gives more than probably anyone else on the team...

Wow, that's gut wrenching. Sometimes lost in all of our holier than thou Monday morning quarterbacking, is the fact that 70 guys have given their all for Tennessee and left it all on the field. I truly feel for Nick. He deserved this win, regardless of fault or circumstance...he deserved it.

The fact that he was there, save for being off-balance, to make the game winning tackle was too much for him.....he put it all out there, though. Anyone figured out how we were in a formation that effectively left him playing safety on that 4th down play?

I bet he blames himself for that missed tackle on the last play, poor guy.
He's a true Vol and truly "gave his all for Tennessee today".
Keep going Nick, you have all of VolNation behind you

I don't think anyone wants to figure it out. The final two minutes of that game is burned into my mind and for all the wrong reasons.

Multiply that look by 70 and that's our post game locker room. I feel like we are going to go into Athens next week just pissed off and are going to hit Georgia square in the mouth. I think we're going to play angry and we're going to hurt their feelings by about 20 points. This short-handed and young team knows it can win in the SEC and they're sick of losing.

Turn this frustration into anger Dooley and kick the sh*t out of Georgia Saturday!!!

I'm very hopeful for next Saturday. Georgia's defense is like the SEC's version of Michigan's 2009 defense. This could be the week where Matt Simms goes into Bizarro Crompton mode. If everything goes well, it could be '09 Georgia all over again.
