I haven't heard much about in for a while now.. Just wondering if we have and outside shot or if that is only a possiblility of the past.

Losing to Kentucky and Vanderbilt must get his blood pumping.

He was probably just excited about playing for a team that would give him the chance to face UT's rush defense. Unfortunately, I expect this kid to spend a lot of time running into our checkerboards.

Unfortunately for him he can't play this year and I say we will be much better next year.

I would not look forward to running against our defense next season. We are young and our with another year under Chavis our defense will be stout next year. We will have possibly the top LB corp in the SEC next season.

for heaven's sake, dont point out anything which could possibly be deemed negative (no matter how true it is), we just cant have that type of behavior around here. No sir, what we do around here is blindly toe the party line. Everything is fine, give Phil another ten years and just get it into your head that really successful programs lose 3 or 4 games a year. Cant you understand that you dont need to win championships to be considered an elite program.:whistling:

nothing to what he said, just a point about previous reactions to anything that might be construed as negative

King Set To Announce

By Jamie Newberg

The long wait is over as five-star running back Caleb King is set to make his commitment at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning at Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian High School.

According to Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian Head Coach Jimmy Chupp running back Caleb King is set to make his decision tomorrow morning at the high school. King, the nation’s No. 3 rated running back prospect, will announce at 9:30 a.m. at the Student Family Center at GAC. It is expected that he makes his decision between Georgia and Auburn and rumors have been persistent lately that the Bulldogs are in the driver’s seat. Florida, Notre Dame, USC, LSU, and Tennessee are also teams that King is considering.
King, 5-11 and 196 pounds, transferred to Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian from Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview High School right before the season. He is now out for the year after breaking a bone in his leg. King was hurt on a pass play in which he came out of the backfield on a crossing route. He took a helmet to the lower leg. He finished with 939 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns. Last season King rushed for 2,768 yards at Parkview, the best rushing total by a junior in Georgia high school history.

When it comes to great running backs they usually have a defining attribute, whether it’s speed, quickness, power, or all of the above. But one thing all great backs do have in common is balance. You have to have great balance to be a great back for obvious reasons. When watching King you notice many super qualities like his power and speed. But King has uncanny balance, with the ability to run right through people, run through arm tacklers and more times than not, he always maintains his balance to finish off yet another big run.

King also has the ability to accelerate at full speed out of a cut. He shows excellent vision and the ability to make people miss. King is also a dangerous receiver out of the backfield and once he has the reception in the open field he is so tough to catch or bring down.
