"Why" Chucky is setting up shop on 150 acres and is building a new home near Knoxville? I know his wife is from here but there has to be something beyond that to make this kind of move.

I really hope this is the beginning of something good!

This horse has been beaten deader than dead on this board. Do a search for "Gruden," "Sevierville," and "cheerleader" and see what you come up with.

Him building in the area is not something that just happened. That's been going on for awhile - at least word of him doing so has been around for quite awhile. Look, I would love to have him, but he is an NFL coach and that is where he is going to stay. I doubt he even gets a call about the Tennessee job whenever it comes open. Same goes for Cowher.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings, nimrod. You started a new thread that's the equivalent of asking, "Hey, has anybody ever noticed that Arian Foster has a problem hanging onto the ball sometimes?"

Maybe we should have freak set it up so that the FAQ is a mandatory read for the new people before they can post.

Mack Brown has land in the Cookeville area. I guess that means he is going to join his brother's staff at TN Tech next year.

Yes, his family is from that area. Just to try to show that someone buying/owning land in an area doesn't mean they will take a jobin the same place. Maybe Gruden wants to retire to East TN.
