If Iowa St wasn't such a powerhouse, we could sneak into the 14 spot.

We moved up after Syracuse game, stayed there after Georgia game, didn't need to move up after UAB game. Win or lose we will move up or down next week.

The only solace I have regarding our AP poll ranking is that we are the 2nd highest rated ONE loss team behind Texas and they actually dropped two spots this week after their lopsided win over Sam Houston.

I'm sure there have been many teams ranked 1 or 2 for 3 weeks or more. Probably a lot fewer have been 15 for 3 weeks or more.

It's weird but nothing to be concerned about. If we win Saturday and then against Arkansas we will be in the top 10. The voters will make sure of it to secure us as a top ten team going into Tuscaloosa.

What’s weird is ND still ranked and Miami moving up after getting that last TD against perhaps the worst Florida team ever after the game was decided. Kinda makes sense on that one though as ESPN keeps promoting them as being back.
