I was listening to The Big Show this morning when one of the personalities, during the "Pigskin Pickin" segment, stated that the UTAD has hired a consultant to help in find a new HC. Has anyone else heard this? I would think that if it were true it would be all over this site, but just thought I'd ask.

One can only hope that it's the same company that helped us identify Bruce Pearl.

No but yesterday on 104.5 in Nashville Mark Howard (think it was Mark) said that next Monday or Tue it will be announced CPF is not comming back. They wanted to wait untill the bye week to put the interm in place. Take it for what it is I have no inside source or connections it's just what was said on the radio. Makes sence though.

It's not.

I believe Ham-nuts used the Pump brothers to connect him with Pearl. While I'm sure they have connections with football coaches, their expertise is definitely hoops.

I am hearing more and more comments from Mark Howard about this situation. Being a previous TV guy, he is usually pretty carefull about what he says when it comes to needing sources. Tomorrow morning, the UT segment with Jimmy H. should be pretty good if he balances these statements against what Jimmy knows. Mark likes to prove he is correct and Jimmy would be his opportunity.

I can agree that I think the decision has been made to make a change BUT I can't see a scenario where coach doesn't finish the season out.

Just relating what I heard on the radio with 2 kids in the car so its not word for word. I agree make the announcement now but let him coach out the season and have a celabration of his carreer.

Except that next week isn't a bye week, unless they moved homecoming.

I heard it this morning on the show too. Didn't name a source. You would think that that is not the kind of information (if it is true) that the University would want to leak out at this time.
