I thought I saw something this past weekend that he has not played any so far this season. Not sure that is true but got me to wondering if he is injured or out for covid.

He's played - not all that much, and when he's been in he hasn't done much.

Remember last year when we thought his waiver approval was going to be the difference between a good or bad season? Good times.

He made some plays last year and I thought going into 2020 he would only improve. The weight he has added looks horrible. I know this year is unlike any other year and players had to work out on their own, but this guy couldn’t put down the fork. Hopefully he sheds some pounds as the season goes on. We need all the depth we can get on the d line.

I'm interested as well in Simmons ... how his health is going into Saturday. He takes up space and collapses the interior of the OL, moving the qb of his spot and out of the pocket (into the waiting arms of DE's and blitzing safeties). He's big and athletic (enough to dunk a volleyball on a regulation basketball goal).

I said all of that to say ... I hope he's good to go against UGA.

I think Solomon had a few contact tracing setbacks. Perhaps this week he will make some strides towards being a little more productive out there.

If the guy doesn’t care enough of the opportunity he has been given and is out of shape, Pruitt should just cut from the program.

Seems like a lot of the highly toted game changer kids we get end up not living up to the hype. Meanwhile guys that we thought would be “good” like Henry T, Gray, etc turn out to be great rather than just good.

Definitely an odd year, but it didn't seem to affect most or any of our other guys.

Solomon has seemed like a diva ever since he was a prospect. Remember during his recruitment he infamously decommitted from Michigan because he claimed they sent him a thank you card to an event he didn't attend, but ended up signing there. Then he allegedly clashed with Harbaugh (not the first person to do that though) which led to him transferring from there. I never could figure out why an elite defensive tackle from Georgia would want to go to Michigan anyway.

One of the few times I totally agree, I still think offer to a recruit should be honored, but it's a two way street. A student athlete has to do his part if not fire him.

Elijah (I call him Babyface) is my favorite underclassman on the line. Want him to succeed and thrive. But if I’m GA on Saturday, I am targeting and picking on him straight up the middle. This will be a huge test for him with the big boys. Good luck, Babyface!

I believe I remember seeing him on the field against SCjr.
