I agree Jackson, but Hart's job is to get programs to win championships. I just hope a man like that lands on his feet. I am sure he will somewhere. Too bad someone like Fulmer. who practically destroyed our FB program gets to live off the AD budget.

In Trembley's*contract, gross misconduct is defined as: theft or dishonesty; gross insubordination; willful destruction of University property; falsification of records; acts of moral turpitude; reporting for duty under the influence of intoxicants: illegal use, manufacture, possession, distribution, or dispensing of controlled substances or alcohol; disorderly conduct; provoking a fight; and other similar acts involving intolerable behavior by the employee.


So basically, he did something. It's not his record or accolades , something bad happened. We will know soon enough

Yeah gross misconduct is NOT good. Hopefully, he caught a DUI over New Year's and wasn't having a relationship with a student or harassing anyone.

Or simply something that he doesn't want known publicly. Moral turpitude covers a lot of non-criminal but potentially embarrassing behaviors. For example, showing up drunk to work is fireable in this case and you really wouldn't want that known to future employers or even the public.

Hopefully he will be an AD that puts the proper types of coaches in place for sports like women's soccer and men's swimming. The kind that will be on the bottom of the pay scale compared to their peers in the conference.

Been a fan for over 40 years, live in Knoxville, the only sinking ship is fans like you creating so much negativity making the job of the staff harder. The reason I say harder is because parents of recruits read boards and they have the most influence on their kids. Keep up the terrible work DA and we can forget getting back for another 10 years.

Sorry to hear this about Trembley. His son was a pretty good pole vaulter for Tennessee. He and his family bled orange. Very fortunate to know them.

I agree. Great family. Went to school with his two oldest sons. Did JTs swim camp in the summers growing up. Sad

I am in total agreement with you,but seems this new breed wannabe, it's all about me crew is more worried about swag or e-cred than being a true fan.
