Hart will Not announce a decision til after the season

heard this on the call in show and final score board show after the game yesterday. so that puts a end to all this nonsense and jibbish going on here on volnation about dooley being fired before seasons end. Hart will not evaluate dooley til after the season. This show is part of the vol network so i would doubt that this would be false information.

If we lose any of these final games. He will fired the following Monday.

Not saying its false but Vol network is not going to say otherwise. That is, until a PC is held.

If the Vols win out the rest of the season I expect CDD to be back for 1 more season whether we like it or not.

Company line. This is the last thing they were told earlier in the season and it is what they are going with.
From what I understand ..the situation is very fluid. So expect anything at anytime.

The fact that Hart has not issued a public vote of confidence or at least made a statement publicly that he will evaluate at the end of the season ...is very telling.

If we win out Dooley is not going anywhere. He might have to hire a new DC. As part of staying. I will believe the Gruden stuff when he is announced as the new football coach at UT. I reayy hope he is. But he has a pretty good job now and he don't have to recruit or put up with the fans when things get do not go right. Dooley's mistake this year was the hire at DC. Should have hired a proven DC that runs a 4-3 defense and knows what it takes to win in the SEC.

they said he made a statement earlier that he (hart) would not evaluate dooley til the end of the season. tifwyw.

if you want to give up on the team go ahead. go hide in a cave. i ain't giving up on the vols i believe we can go 8-5. and will til proven by the record at the end of the season. hope you have some candles and matches to light your cave.

Sounds like a good idea. Let's sit around twiddling our thumbs until the end of the season. In the meantime, Auburn and Arkansas will fire their coach and will get first pick from the pool of this year's coaching candidates. Then, we'll just have to take the best option left of the guys they don't want.

8-5 is meaningless. This season is already a wash. We didn't beat anyone who mattered. This will be the weakest 8-5 in the program's history--wins over NC State, Akron, GA State, Missouri, Vandy, Kentucky, and Troy? And then some scrub in a toilet bowl, I guess.

But I guess we should be happy about that because it shows progress, right?

Those announcements are usually very shallow and are the kiss of death. The only public support that would mean jack$hit would be a contract extension. Otherwise, it is a day to day story. Sit back and watch it happen one way or another.

If Dooley is retained after only beating scrub teams they might as well use the rest of the money we do have buy a whole bunch of sand and pour it on top of Neyland. Cause nothing he has done to warrant any extra time.

best we do is 7-5 regular season and i don't think we sweep the last four. Missouri will probably beat us.

Can't believe the AD's plans would be shared in a call in show. Fire dools now and let the new coach recruit
