Harrison Bailey will break Peyton’s single season records

Go ahead and mark it down
Not even close to apples to apples. Different era and philosphies. Put Manning in this style of offense, and the numbers would have been staggering. Having said that, it remains to be seen that Bailey is actually the starter and on this roster next fall.

I love HB and know he loves Tennessee. But try to listen to this objectively without getting all emotional and defensive.

Bailey doesn’t have anywhere near the same arm strength Peyton had at that age.

HB may become the starter. I know he is a gamer, a competitor, has the will to win and has the potential to rack up yards. But I don’t trust him to throw an out from the right hash to the left hash, he simply doesn’t have the arm strength. CJH will have to cater the offense to his strengths, which is great. But he can’t make all the passes like Peyton could at that age.

Heupel is gonna see much better defenses than he seen at UCF. Alabama is a little different than South Alabama, but I hope you’re right
He’s seen them as he’s coached at Oklahoma and Missouri with great success so stop with the stupid comments and support him!

Peyton never had legendary arm strength. Bailey can make all the throws.

He's just used to throwing with touch.

He can throw.

It's gonnabeaHECK of a baddle!

Hooker??
Why?
I'm guessing more college playing experience and mobility.
Really depends on what CJH wants out of his QB.
I wish we got to see more of HB but Pruitt messed that up playing duck duck goose at the QB position.
I liked what I saw out of HB but don't think I've seen enough to guarantee him the starting job.
Especially since it's a new coaching staff and system that both QB's will have to learn and execute.
I will say I'd be shocked if Salter starts. If that was to happen I'd have serious questions about the other QBs

Yeah,
Peyton's strong suit was not landing the bomb, on the money.

He sure hit Kent with a crossing route a lot.

Question:
What kind of offense did CJH run at Mizzou?

Agree. Plus, I hate when people make useless predictions about something we know nothing about. Nobody has seen HB long enough to make that statement.

I still think Mauer has a chance of being the guy. Folks keep either forgetting or just not mentioning his name. But I think he will surprise a bunch of us..
Most aren't mentioning him because there is superior talent ahead of him in HB & HH. Salter comes in as our most athletic QB as well and is strong for a QB. I'd be surprised if Maurer sees the field again at UT.

People shouldnt sleep on Salter. Could see him challenging Bailey as the year goes on.

1. Hooker
2. HB
3. Salter
4. Maurer (probably transfers to get PT elsewhere)

We've finally got a couple decent QBs to work with. Time to get another high caliber guy in 2022 to make our QB room complete. Should be fun.

You mean, he'll see the same defenses he saw when he coached offense at Missouri. It's not going to be a surprise for him.
