….. prove. me. wrong.
Maybe after Milton running out of bounds to end the game may/hopefully moved Milton to 3rd and HB to 2nd.Don’t have to. He’s the 3rd string QB behind Milton.
So Hooker > Milton > Bailey
Bailey must really frikkin’ suck that we are in week 8 and he still can’t beat out Milton.
Seriously, Bailey can’t run the offense at the tempo required. If you want Bailey as your QB, then just bring back Gump as well because that’s the kind of offense required to apparently fit his skill set.
If other teams use the flopping strategy then he will be fineI’m a huge HB fan. saw him play twice in HS. I think he’ll be great in time. If he has to play he’ll survive it but sadly he’s not as ready as the others. The game is still moving to fast for him…or he’s processing too slowly. Take your pick but either way we won’t see Bailey unless the other 2 get hurt.
I would think he would want a chance to prove what he can do, in order to audition to transfer destinations.Bailey may not want to use another game of eligibility? As he is sure to leave. Why screw up future eligibility to play elsewhere when not appreciated or coveted at Tennessee by Huepel and staff. Just my opinion.
Heupel has made this system work without a mobile QB in the past, but only when he’s had a great OL. But we don’t have that. Therefore we must have a running QB. You can’t make this offense work with both a bad OL and a statue QB. I get that Milton will be a tough sell to this fanbase after the last play of the game, but throwing Bailey out there against Bama’s defense behind this OL is setting him up to be killed.Hard to do RPO without the R
