Y’all are like wolves in sheep’s clothing thinking we are getting some awesome OC. If we get one great but I’m almost certain it’s going to be one HUGE bust of a hire. Pruitt is royally f—ked next year...6-6 next year gents. Get back to me when the announcement is made....
You’ve had enough. Sit this one out.

Looking at orange power (OSU) board, there is a fair amount that want Yurcich gone. Although this comment is very interesting.

"We have the number 10 ranked offense out of 129 in FBS. With a 5th year walk on QB and an O-line that struggled for much of the year. Ranked higher than Coach Bro. Higher than the pirate. Close to Holgy who we beat.

Be careful what you wish for..."

Yurcich? Sounds like the sound I make when I catch the stomach flu.

It's all about selling points to him.

"Coach, we want you in Tennessee. Here's a significant raise, a new car/truck for recruiting and you can run the offense without any interference from anyone..."

"And did we mention we have way bigger sidelines than Stillwater?"

The one that jumped out at me was this:

"He isn't good enough to hire away and he isn't bad enough to fire. It is an incredibly annoying situation."

That sounds exactly what we can't afford. Pruitt needs some help. It really does concern me that the majority of their fans seem perfectly fine with losing this guy.

Fanbases are inherently stupid. Just look at VN.

Because some fans are idiots...

Not breaking news right there if you peruse our own FF on game days.

Anyway, I've seen firsthand what he can do offensively. Here's my only, and ONLY problem with Yurcich...

I think we get him for one year and one year only. If he comes in here and even gets 7-8 wins, but has the same high octane offense I see at OKST, he's as good as gone to a HC position. Hell, he was talked about in the mix the last couple of years.

He gets 10 wins and he wouldn't even coach a bowl game since he'd be gone.

Now, on the flip side, that's the reason I could see him not coming here. He's loyal to Coach Mullet for giving him his big shot and knows he's likely to get consideration as a HC even by staying at OSU.

But if it's Mike Yurcich, then what's the hold up? No reason he couldn't have been announced already.

The "Pruitt has hired someone but can't announce yet" story sounds more like an NFL guy or Rush Propst.

I prefer to go with the quote which offers data as opposed to opinion.
