Harrison Bailey hinting at coming back perhaps?

Why hasn’t some other team snapped him up yet? Seems like a prize 4-5* QB would have already landed somewhere.

I don't think it was the case with HB but many players are likely being told to leave and that they won't have a scholarship with their current program. The one year penalty against the player made that more difficult for programs in the past. The portal made it a near necessity to move players out who can't help you.

Bailey's best shot to make the NFL could be to land somewhere like North Dakota State.
Probably have a tough time taking the #1 spot NDSU. They are usually stacked

Should've stayed until the end of the season and continued to get some coaching.
Never bought into the he's leaving early to get his name in the portal early. Coaches were going to wait as late as possible to see what's out there unless you already had star power.
Figured someone was telling him through back channels they wanted him.
He should land someplace although it may not be one of the big schools.

He might know something that we don`t. I have a hard time thinking that Milton is content on riding the pine if he wants to play on Sunday. I wonder if there will be a position change for Milton. If so maybe he thinks he would move up to #2 on the depth chart. And have a better chance of getting on the field if Hooker were to get injured. But I don't know. Maybe he does know where he is going.
If Milton is progressing and CJH is starting to turn the lights on for him, Milton figures 1.)if Hooker goes down and he has good games he may can take back the #1 depending on the injury, 2) He's progresses enough that 2023 he become the legit starter and lights it up and then enters the draft.
Miltons best bet is to get coached up and stay where he is, his passes from the last few games are looking a lot better. He transfer to a place that may not be solid on coaching up QB's will kill any chance for him.

I wish Harrison Bailey nothing but the best, but it appears other coaches out there are assessing him in a similar manner that Coach Heupel has. He appears to be a very good young man, but so far he hasnt done enough at the collegiate level to generate interest by other coaches. With Navy Shuler and Kaidon Salter rounding out the roster with four quarterbacks, I dont see a place for him. I hope he finds a home, but I agree with previous posters those spent the year demanding Coach Heupel play him and then ranting about him going somewhere else to winning a national championship, it doesnt look good on you guys. Personally, I support the team as a whole not an individual player.

Kaidon transferred to Liberty a few months ago but I agree with your point.

Well then maybe you don’t belong on this board. Many of us are on here, desperate for new football-related news, and Bailey is what? 21 years old? It’s called social media for a reason.
It’s not like someone is peering into his bedroom window.

Well, actually I did. Was on the the public sidewalk outside his house in Calhoun the whole time, so perfectly legal. Saw what looked like Austin Peay and Kennesaw State on his own browser while he was looking around. Not seeing a problem here. TIFWIW.

Bailey has average physical skills, a good, not great arm. Guys like him need to be patient but that wasn’t the case here. Nothing wrong with physically maturing & starting your jr & sr yr. Ask Joe Burrow.

Not every kid that enters the portal gets a new team. If this continues, a strong narrative against the portal will develop unless you are a key contributor.

Imo, this is the result of two things.
1, the scouting services rank too many kids as D1 recruits. If you can afford to pay to attend camps or pay to have someone throw together some nice highlight reels, they are going to throw some stars your way, even though you probably will never be a contributor in SEC, BIG10, etc...
2, the days of putting in your time and work for 2-3 years in a program and working your way to a starting position, are almost gone. These kids are told how great they are, from the time they enter middle school. And in their small towns(in a lot of cases) they are, so they expect to walk in and start from day one.
Just my 2 cents.
GBO!!

I told you guys back in 2019 he was a 3* qb and no one wanted to listen. I wish the young man the best but just like I said back then, he was overrated out of HS and it wasn’t his fault. The dumbass services did him a major DISservice by ranking him based on the talent surrounding him
