Harrison Bailey Currently playing on ESPNU

He just moved up to like #32 in one and he's off to a hot start. Who cares what they rank him, he's as talented as anyone else playing QB in that class.
He reminds me of Justin Worley in high school. Very accurate, but may need some more zip on the ball for the next level. Hopefully, he gets stronger, but Danny Wuerffel did a great job throwing easily catchable balls by dropping them in.

Maybe 2020

You're right...I'm just trying to be optimistic that JG is going to kill it this year and retain his starting job next year before being drafted high. This way Bailey will get a year around the Chaney offense and a year in the weight room. I'd hate to see him thrown in the fire and we suffer growing pains again........I'M TIRED OF PAIN BROTHER!!!! But, he very well could be our starter. I trust Chaney and JP

His game film honestly never jumped off the page to me. He’s a really good qb but so are a lot of other guys. Don’t get me wrong, but Worley, Peterman and a laundry list of other guys looked great in HS.

I was sold after last night though. Kid never came close to cracking. You could see the frustration coming out of his teammates but he just kept going. Stuff like that you can’t teach.

The QB on the other team was a good one. I think he is committed to Ohio State , and had offers from Penn State and Michigan or Mich St.

The 6-foot-4.5, 224-pound Bailey completed 17 of 35 passes for 259 yards, two touchdowns and one interception on a night when the Blue Devils (2-0) were plagued by drops but still made enough plays to edge the Hawks (0-1), who were ranked No. 8 nationally in the MaxPreps Top 25 and No. 11 by USA Today going into Friday's game.

Vols QB commit Bailey helps team rally for dramatic win

I think he’s taking something off his passes on purpose

Lol, he's nothing like Worley, at least I hope not as he was arguably the worst QB we've ever put on the field.

Maybe. I just saw the 4th quarter and the end of the 3rd, and there several drops, so he may have been trying to get them to hold on to one . He may have thrown some bullets before I tuned in.

Worley had no offensive line, and was a great high school qb, and was signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears . That is better than most college qb's. He also had a thumb injury much of the time he was at U.T.

I've heard it rumored that Pruitt would like to convert Gilbert to DE if he can talk him into signing with us. Those words came out of Gilbert's own mouth. Doesn't necessarily mean the fellow would like to play defense but they expect him to be able to carry 295-310 with ease when he fills out.
I heard a rumor that the earth blew up last night. It must not have just a rumor.

i watched the game. Bailey stayed focus and was never rattled. After the drops by the by the 5 start he found other guys that made the catches. Can't wait until he is in Orange.

I've seen him throw darts, when he wants/needs to. He threw a few last night. I remember one in particular, he threaded the needle to Gilbert and it was definitely SEC caliber arm strength.
