Does anyone know anything about this game tommorrow night? It says on the UT Sports site schedule that we play them tommorrow. It also mentions that it is a J.V. game. Does UT have a J.V. team??????? Any facts would be appreciated.

This is the first JV game we've had since 1992. Usually only happens when you have enough people to play, b/c afaik, if you play in the JV game, you can't play in any regular season games and it doesn't count against your eligibility. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

coker might even play. I could be mistaken, but JV games can be played by anyone that doesn't play in all 12 regular games.

That's the way I've understood it. No one can play in more than 12 regular season games, so anyone who has missed a game already can play in it.

i wasn't necessarily calling for coker to play, but supposedly his biggest problem is getting in a groove, perhaps VKB is right. I was mainly using his name as a point that anyone who missed a game can play

Why risk Coker with injury???? I wouldn't play him.

I think I heard on the coach "work like heck" Phil show he said anyone that has played or is going to play any games this year will not play at the JV game, could be wrong but I really think thats what he said...

hopefully UTSports.com will post the stats after the game. I wanna see who plays in it. the website link has a pic of Stephens with the article, so i guess he will be the starting QB.

Why don't some of you guys that live near Knoxville go and give the rest of us a report.............surely you can afford the price.:p

I listened to Vol Calls other night and they asked Fulmer about it. I dont expect to see anyone except bench warmers and young (non redshirted) players play. If he plays anyone who starts, or even is a second string player and they get hurt, that will make Fulmer look like a huge bonehead. Not that he does not already, just saying :)

Starters and important backups will not play. College football players can only play in 12 regular season games per season. Any guy not being redshirted and not having played in a game this year can play.

Expect to see a lot of walk-ons for UT.
