Hardesty will run all over the Gamecocks

We aren't anywhere close to being scared to hit a physical back. I anything we try to knock people out too much and don't wrap up. Yea we allowed Ingram to run wild all over us, but Hardest isn't Mark Ingram either.

I dont know if we watched the same ball game or not but I saw a lot of whiffs and low tackle attempts against Ingram. Just ask Brandon Spikes what he thinks about Hardesty. Ingram is a good back but Hardesty is better and more physical. Hes doing his work running behind two walk ons in the middle.

The game against South Carolina and their poor run defense is what launched Ingram's heisman campaign. He wasn't even mentioned before. Hardesty should have a field day!

Considering the respective offensive lines Hardesty and Ingram run behind, they cannot be justly compared. Certainly, if Hardesty had Alabama's line blocking for him, I think he would be putting up numbers at least as good as those of Ingram. As it is, Hardesty has played very well this season.

I have this feeling like this will be one of the games we talk about for a long time, Hardesty gets near 200yds

i know IF'S dont count, but if we had a better o-line i would say we win by at least 14 saturday

Where do you think this SC line ranks. 1 out of 10? Tennessee has played some great O-Lines this year and have stood toe to toe with them. I don't see how SC could come in with Florida's O-Line and beat us by 14. The days of getting beat by 14 at the hands of SEC teams seem to be over. I know SC has good athletes, but I do not see SC going to Knoxville and winning by 14 even with a line like Alabama's. Perhaps 3 points?

You do realize, that UT is starting 2 walk ons, at center, and guard (that weigh 270 lbs). Plus a coverted 270 lb. TE, at right guard.

I will throw props to a SC player that doesn't get a lot of love. Chris Culliver was all over the place when I watched the Ole Miss game on ESPN. The have used this guy a lot like Eric Berry. He is fast, a good tackler, and his motor doesn't stop running. He compliments Norwood well and I would like to have him as my last line of defense. I think if Hardesty buts through the front seven this guy should be there. So that being said I do not know how many rushes over 20 yds. MH will have, I hope it is a lot, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

If the same SC run defense shows up, that did against alabama, USCjr is going to be back at the same spot they are 90% of the time against UT. On the losing end.

Yeah, but it was the wildcat with Ingram that really killed them. I have to wonder if Nuke will line up in the Pahokee Package some. He is a burner and we saw what he did against AU. After seeing what Ingram did in the wildcat, it would be pretty deadly in this game to line Nuke up at QB with Hardesty and Brown in the same backfield.

UF's OL is regarded as one of the best in the country... and they couldn't beat UT by 14 at home before UT's O had really come around.

My wife is from Union... I really don't "hate" SoCar at all. I think Spurrier is funny. But you seem to be underestimating UT's front 7.
