Glad Hardesty's doing well but Ben Tate had to have really helped his stock. At 220 lbs, he was near the top for about every drill.

oh ok; i hadnt heard the latter part of that

i knew though that breaking his leg in HS was the reason why people say he went under the radar in recruiting as like a 2 star or something

I heard he couldn't make it into a d1 school if he tried. Heard the kid could barely spell his name coming out of HS...

I sure would love to see him do some great things in the NFL.

He will. Imo he's the most underrated player in the draft. Of course, with those stats today he may very well shoot up the board. Nonetheless, if he can stay healthy, he will make a proBowl in the next 4 yrs.

Well, I farted once in high school, but the smell went away!:dance2::dance2::dance2::dance2::dance2:

But seriously I to like CJ but I just love Hardesty. Great to know he is doing so well. Switching between NFL network and USA's hockey game!

This can't be true based on your username. Everybody knows that ladies don't fart... they break wind.

Hardesty is a beast, and Spillers run is just sick. Both these guys are at least going to be dressed on Sunday.

Just happy to see Hardesty doing well after all his ups and downs and injuries. He and Crompton especially deserve whatever success they can achieve on draft day.

By the way he has tested, I would say his physicals went well. With teams like the Chargers, Seahawks, Lions needing workhorses or at least a top flight No. 2 back, Montario is saying 4 words: SHOW ME THA $!!?

Hardesty is a stud but what the heck does a long jump have to do with the NFL? I have never understood the combine.

They view both the broad jump and the vertical as indicators of a player's initial burst. The running backs jumped before they ran the 40, and Marshall Faulk said that he expected Hardesty to run in the 4.4s because of the jumps. It obviously isn't a 1:1 correlation, but there's definitely something there.

I thought he was one of the top 3 performers today in the RB's. Im surprissed his stock isnt evan higher than it is. Maybey theres injury concerns but he did great in all the drills and looks the part more than almost anyone I think.

Montario Hardesty is starting to turn some heads at the combine. He has the best vertical among all RB's at 41", as well as the best broad jump (standing long jump for those of you who don't know). I can't remember the exact number, but I know it's over 10 feet. Something like 10.1 I believe. He also ran a 4.49 40, and at 225 lbs, that's a pretty good time.

If the Colts hadn't of selected Donald Brown last year, I'd be rooting for him to be a Colt.
