OK, when AF leaves do you think Hardesty will be an All-American? I do heres some reasons:He is faster than AF, He can read blocks good, he just won't go down, and he RUNS OVER people.

I'd be happy if Hardesty could just make it through one season without missing significant playing time due to injury.

He's a nice back, but All-American seems a bit of a stretch for Montario.

Injury bug needs to be swatted first, then we could talk about 2nd team ALL-SEC before AA could even be addressed.

Well look at his ability....what do you know he could be a All-American. Plus the bad thing is that it seems like he either gets 8 yards or -2 yards every run

The thing that Hardesty needs to stop doing is running into the back of the first O-Lineman he sees, If he could do that then we could start thinking about All-SEC.

He gets named All-American the week after he wins the Heisman?

When is the last time Tennessee had an All-American running back? I'm not sure Jamaal Lewis was because he got injured his junior year.

Travis Stephens in 2001 I believe

Hardesty lacks the vision and patients to become an All-American RB IMO. I love his downhill running style though.

Hardesty hasn't shown me anything besides 1 run against Cal in 2006 that makes me think he is anywhere near good enough to be AA. I'm much more excited about Creer. Vereen has been good too in practices. I'd rather see Rogan than Hardesty.

When Hardesty is healthy, he is our best back. This guy knows how to finish off a run. He's much faster than Foster too. I think that Hardesty will be a 1200-1300 yard back his senior year. I love the way he punishes defenders at the end of his runs. Let's just hope he acheives that All-american status so our running attack will be strong in a couple of years.

I think he will be the second string running back his senior year.

I highly doubt he'll be a 20 carry a game guy. I don't think Creer will be either.

It's a moot point as to who is starting because both Creer and Hardesty, in a perfect world, should get 12-15 carries a game.

I havent been as impressed with Creer as some people. Hopefully he can change my opinion.

Creer will be a 1500yd back before he leaves UT. Everything is set up great for him to become an all-time great back. He worked this year with Foster, Hardesty, and Coker (say what you will, but he was a good back). Next year, he'll work with Foster and Hardesty. His junior year, it's him and Hardesty splitting carries. By his 4th year, barring injury, he'll be THE back. After 3 years of sharing and competing, he'll be ready to get 20-25 carries a game.

He's so great that he can't crack UT's starting lineup, and you want to ask if we think he'll be an All-American? Next question.

Honestly, I haven't been that impressed with what I've seen from Hardesty. Yea, he runs hard, but that's about it. Speed doesn't seem like anything extraordinary. Just seems like he runs into the back of the nearest lineman for 2 yards.
