This is ridiculous. A big time sec team and we play down to these little schools. I dont understand. Sec teams are gonna have a field day with us if we dont turn it up. Weak offense and weak def wont win you big games. Play calling is ridiculous. Im not usually one for negative rants but jesus!

I just hope we can finish this game with a win. Not worried at all about anything else at this point. I hope we arent in trouble with THIS game.

I live on the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas. When the pre-season ratings hit the stand, I couldn't tell you how many times I heard that the Vols were one of the most overrated teams in history. I'm starting to have to admit that these people were right on the nose.

I think Coach Jones bought into the hype, dialed things back in practice over the summer, tried to get the players to not be too emotional(which is dumb bc college football is all about emotional swings) and it's backfiring

Hermann won't need to leave TX for his next job. And if Houston moves up he may very well go nowhere. He actually WANTS to coach at Houston and they love him!

Yep, that's exactly what it's gonna be. It's gonna be ugly. After this week we'll lose the next 4 games against Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M and Alabama.

I read that UH doesn't have to travel more than a 30 mile radius to get top recruits. Fish in a barrel.

You wanna talk about people saying Tennessee is OVERRATED, try living in FLorida.. I as laughed at on daily basis. I fly a 6' flag at the house on game days and boy to I pay for it. Im known in the neighbor hood as the funny guy with joke!
Seriously, take a good look at our players and compare them to Fla, Fla st, Ala, Georgia, LSU, players.
They all have full grown men playing. We have for most part dough boys with pink cheeks.
OHIO has never beaten a ranked team.. We might even make history today!

No way should Vols be struggling vs App St. and Ohio...at home no less.

With all this talent we have...I dont know where else to point to but coaching.

We should be blowing Ohio out plain and simple.


Josh Dobbs can run but he is one of the worst passing QB's UT has had in decades.

This offense is very difficult to watch. Dobbs is a smart young man but he is not a SEC level quarterback because he can't throw. He would have been great in the 50-60's single wing attack!!!

We're playing it close to the vest so we don't give our best stuff away to Florida.

Maybe, but the scheme is total crap and he's too stubborn to see it.

I have no idea why they don't see throwing a screen to Kamara is a bad idea 95% of the time. Especially since they pump faked to hm when the defense bit and then hit a big play up the middle. So they have to see it right?

Or why they can't find a HB to block on a downhill running play.

The offensive scheme is plain awful.
