A lot of people are saying RS isn't a bad coach but i beg to differ. I admit he is not the only problem with the team but he sucks as a oc. just like every year all the talent but not good coaching. go after spurrier

I would rather the Vols go 1-10 every year for the rest of my life than hire Spurrier as head coach. :finger:

If you were guaranteed to win a war, but Hitler was your commander, would you be happy you won?

I think it would be more fun to hire somebody that could beat Spurrier consistently. IMO Spurrier is not such a Guru. I just think our coaching is that bad.

That's a lie and if it isn't, then you need a cranial replacement. :shades:

I wish he would take Fulmer with him. We need a new HC. Ours is asleep at the wheel counting his money.

No sir it is not. No way in heck do I want a smart mouthed jerk as my HC. If you want him then root for the cocks. As for me I will stick with a guy who has just as many NC as spurrier but is a much classier person.

I have no complaints about RS getting let go. I’m waiting to see how the team is going to respond.

RS put our team in a position to win against Al, Fl, and SC, the play calling is not the problem, mechanics and discipline are, and that is a coaching problem.....but not all of that is RS's fault, some but not all. RS being gone will not solve all the problems (other than putting a smile on the basher's faces)

It will not solve all the problems but it is probably a good start. :biggrin2: :biggrin2: :biggrin2: :biggrin2:

Sport your smile.

Let's see, a couple of years ago we were second only to Miami in players sent to the NFL. Yet, what have we accomplished with that talent? Several respectable seasons. Great! We have the talent this year to go undefeated. I understand a couple of close losses are acceptable under those conditions, but 4? Probably 5? Come on! I'm just relieved that some changes are taking place. I hope we build a nucleus that can develop the talent that PF is able to recruit.
