Yeah, that makes sense. :ermm:
Don't let timelines get in the way or anything.
Neyland defeated the Bear; the Bear just wasn't at Bama when he did it. Doesn't make it any less significant. Just would have been nice, you know, to throw it in their faces.
I get what you're saying, and I'm not comparing Neyland vs. Bryant. I think Neyland was a helluva coach and from what I read just as good of a person. He is the epitome of Southern football.
It would've been great if Bryant was coaching at Bama when Neyland whooped that ass, but he wasn't. It's trying to throw something in Bama's face that had nothing to do with Bama when it was said.
I'm going to derail this thread with your stupid BS. My point was not about who coached where when they coached against each other, my point was about which fanbase claims to have the better coach, you sanctimonious d*ck.
On a much lighter note...
Happy Birthday General!
Your "fact" is in "fact" wrong, Bryant was a "coach" at Bama when Neyland was at UT, but you're right...I suppose idiotic was more accurate.
Context. Context, moron.Jesus H Murphy Christ! You're really reaching now. That would be the equivalent of a fan from UK starting a thread about Schirra Fields (should he go on to be a wonderful head coach) because he was a GA on UT's staff when UK beat them in 2011.
Using your logic, then Bryant can say he beat Neyland because the 1934 team that he played on beat UT and won a NC.
You are proof that you should never try to argue with an idiot because they try to drag you down to their level and beat you up with experience.
