That wasnt hands to the face since it's the neck(Twitter). Very livid about it, threw in a few choice words I wont repeat.
Thoughts?

Once you've stomped a guy in the face, hands to the neck probably seems minor.

I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to try and break a guys neck.

It's not a shock that Haynesworth is saying this either. He was a dirty SOB.

I think if Gaulden says he was sending a message to Haynesworth, it was a penalty well spent.

Wasn’t he the guy who once maimed another player by stomping on his face with the bottom of his cleat?

Yeah, I’d ignore his advice on what’s legal in the trenches. I’m pretty sure you can’t strangle a guy during a bull rush.

For God's sake, YES. Haynesworth did intentionally cleat Andre Gurode of the Cowboys in the face and was suspended 8 games for it. However, it's never mentioned that Gurode had just been called for chop blocking him. Haynesworth has anger management issues going back to when he was at UT and showed up after practice with a pipe looking for Will Ofenheusle. However, it's not fair to say that he was a dirty player and unlike most here he actually did play in the NFL for several years and was one of the top DT's in the league with the Titans from '06-'08. I think he's wrong here but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss what he thinks either.
