Yall going off hear say. He never been charged with anything. This man reputation is ruined because of a overreaction. ESPN hired him after the Tampa Job then he went to Ohio State. I know they did a background check on this dude.

I'm done with ESPN/SEC Network. Even if they carry a UT game, I'll listen to Kelsing on the radio. This would be the same reaction from them if we had hired Schiano.

Actually, you need to catch up so you don't look bad. The article in the Washington Post appeared in 2016 and after he was hired by Ohio State. ESPN, nor OSU, had the information at the time he was hired.

Ohio State does bear some responsibility knowing the information due to the release of the article in 2016 and ignoring the situation. The press in Columbus let Urban say he was not going to talk about this. That would have never happened in Knoxville, Tennessee.

But UT was going to hire him after the knowledge of the testimony was public.

Thank God for our fans to revolt.

We don't need any thin skinned p****** anyways..Someome is going to want a 4+ mil a year job in the SEC.

This debacle shows that the fan base is passionate. Win and you will be a legend as a coach. If you are scared of losing you won't like it though and probably shouldn't consider the job. Sift out the sissies bc aside from Texas AM what available job is better?

Texas A&M > Tennessee > Arkansas..every other HC opening available

I'd take a lower level assistant that's never been involved in a child rape case over a higher level coordinator whose name has.

After paying $2.8 million over a title IX rape case they still can't figure out why we didn't want Schiano.

I don't care if he saw it or not but his name was involved and that's close enough for me.

What major university with the size of student body , facilities, and money UT has , would be ok with that line of reasoning?? We have unrealistic expectations? WTF do these goons think we're out here in the rain and cold for? To see an ok football team? To say - well at least we scored in the game with UF, Bama , Oklahoma etc... If we have the resources to bring in a high level coaching staff in the expectations to compete with other high level programs , we have every damn right to expect playing , coaching, and administration at a high level. We aren't f***ing Troy ! Damn right we have the right to pursue greatness and expect it if we're paying for it ! These ESPN blow holes need to accept that they expect too much pay and need to accept what they are . THEY have unrealistic expectations of what their 2cents are worth.

We’ve been listening to the media buy into this “brick by brick” crap and they were wrong. All of them are from other SEC programs and don’t have Tennessee’s best interest. We’re going to get a coach that understands Tennessee and will start winning again.

The Penn State players openly joked about how you'd better not drop the soap around Sandusky, but you think Schiano somehow didn't know what the players already knew?

Just because he has never been charged with anything doesn't mean anything. It took 35 years for Jerry Sandusky to get charged, he was a great defensive coach too, and people were more than willing to make excuses for him since he was good at winning games for his team and fans.

So vol fans should fall in lockstep and be Just loving sheep filling Neyland. We don’t want any coach from the Sandusky cloud regardless of guilt. This fan base has spoken.
