I wouldn't argue with the phrase hardest working but I like you have trouble with the word best.

Fulmer and Troop are both great recruiters. Fulmer does well with in home visits and connecting with parents. He may make over 2 million a year but you would never know it from the way he acts around folks. He helps player's mammas with the dishes after dinner and stuff like that.

Recruits love Troop because he is energetic and enthusiastic. He is a good counterpart to Phil because their personalities are pretty different. He is also a successful African American and a good role model for a lot of these recruits. He has nicknames for everyone he is recruiting and they love that too.

I think they are a whole lot better than Cut or Roper.

It would be hard to say who is the better recruiter as they are so different, but they are both excellent at what they do.

Well it's no secret that he and Troop don't like each other and apparently wasn't happy with all the praise Cut got in 2006 and has been pissy towards him too. I think he's a lousy coordinator, and seems like a pretty petty person, wish we could get someone like Muschamp.

I hope that Troop stays - he's doing 90% of the recruiting, he's the reason the new age/day kids are attending UT, why do you think Phil sends Troop to each player's home instead of just the ones he recruits.

Phil, Rut and Chief all have one big thing in common, they were all good in there prime a decade ago. Now there 10 years past there time and spinning there wheels w/ mediocrity. Move over and let some new blood take over. I think Troop is a great AC and RC but not sure on HC.

I hope Troop don't let Chief run him off. Troop is MUCH more valuable to the program. Heck, anyone can get in us prevent and/or Mustang and give up 400 yards each Sat. We would be better off w/ out Chief, he can't recruit, now he's showing he struggles stopping offenses, what good is a guy like that???

Pls stay CTT..

trooper is a first class recruit coach and sideline presence, we cant lose him! give him another raise, he seems to be getting one every yr, you know we can pay him what he is worth

If Troop leaves believe we will get him back under a new coach...Will not be a need for anymore Extensions and Chavis will be toasted by the Fans and Boosters. Troop is one of the reasons we survived this season... He needs a change so he can come back and step up... It is a matter of time before the wheels fall off... I would rather Troop not be here when they do so he can be a solution to the Problems we are not privy to than to be associated with them when the Stuff hits the Fan... It is going to hit just when I cannot foresee.

Joke right?

Backwards hat and chest bumping do not equate to first class sideline presence.

Good recruiter. Closes the deal very well.

Coaching....ehh. I was waiting on this season to make a good judgement on him. His position played average at best. Lots of bad routes, dropped balls, and no standout player. He did a good job considering, but not anything special.

"Phillip and his staff did an exceptional job keeping our team focused and working to improve during the latter half of the season as they won the Divisional Championship."

"We have now appeared in five championship games in 11 years, which is more than any other SEC program can claim."

"... He is our coach and will be our coach for the foreseeable future. A contract extension allows him to aggressively recruit the student-athletes that will allow the football program to hopefully bring home another National Championship for you -- the greatest fans in America."

hamilton has lost his edge. second best i guess is good enough.
