Hamilton reported that all coaches were present (minus LK, MK and EO) for a 10am meeting this morning except for Reaves, who was traveling but checked in later.

Hamilton anticipates HFC deal to be closed before recruiting opens back up on Sunday.

Says the EO issue calling EEs was "un-ethical" and that the EEs are on campus and enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours at current. Wasn't familiar that they could back out before physically attending a class.

It think Hamilton is doing well in the press conference. " The SEC is the most competitive league, and I thought you were a competitive guy." MH to LK.

He seems like he knows who he wants. Seems confident.

This to me seems to be the key to Orgeron's violation. If recruits initiated contact with Tennessee and were on campus sure its ok to talk to them but for another school to initiate contact seems suspect. I don't know the rules that well but this has been on my mind. Of course I may be wrong.

Don't you get it by now... Kiffin and Co don't care about violations... they just want the recruit and they will get them.

My only prob with Hammy was not calling the second in command and telling him to lock them out and advise them they no longer work here and all items in said offices belong to UT. If you want a presser go off campus!

Block the parking lot in, and let the students know when they are leaving :whistling:

Nah, Kippy is a class-act. He'd respectfully decline and wish Kiffin luck.

He didn't get offered directly anyway.

I was going off of this report, no inside information on my part or anything.

"Meanwhile, Tennessee wide receivers coach Kippy Brown, who joined Kiffin's staff less than four weeks ago, will be named interim coach of the Volunteers. He had been given the opportunity to follow Kiffin to USC as well, sources told Low."
