Here's the gist...asked if Fulmer was shocked, Hammy said no...they had conversations. Fulmer did not want to leave. He wouldn't go into specifics about the conversations. He said he would have liked to have had the whole thing done in a day, but Fulmer wanted to tell his family. Hammy was "angry" that the players and staff found out through the media. He went into some depth about the buy-out as far as the assistants, nothing shocking...and that Fulmer's buy-out can be payed over AT LEAST 48 months. He has hired a search firm and has supplied the list of candidates. When asked about Sexton...he said that they have a good relationship with him, that his first priority is obviously his clients but because he was a UT grad. that he has an interest in this as well. As for the new hire, nothing is off the table. He was asked about 4 mil. he wouldn't discuss the money he might pay a new coach.
