Doesn't seem far fetched, Wade Phillips will more than likely be given another year given the Cowboys victory last week. An extra 3 million in the pocket would have to make Garrett think about it at the very least. Jerry has a big wallet, tough to think he wouldn't counter. Who knows.

hate to break your hearts again but i have been listening to the animal non stop all day wile i paint my room. they havint said jack about a "mystery candidate" they did however say the cutcliff rumor was premature. the truth is NO ONE knows what is going on

Last year Cutcliffe would not take the job out of loyalty to Fulmer. Why would he feel any different this year? Could it be that he knows that Hammy is going to be replaced by Fulmer as AD? Just a thought.

I'm tired of hearing about these nobodies and also rans being considered as head coach of our football program...This is TENNESSEE for godsake!...This isn't Ohio U or Ball St..This is TENNESSEE!!...I want a premier coach dammit...We deserve a premier coach...We have a storied history and great tradition...How is it We are considering WR coaches and military coaches and Duke coaches with losing records and being turned down by a overrated DC at Texas???...How the hell is does this happen??...The athletic department needs to stop going after every cheap date they can find and start asking the big names...In fact give them a REASON to consider us!...Hell Alabama went out and got who they wanted after several disasterous hires...Thy learned their lessons...Why can"t we?
