Was it $43 million profit I read recently? #7 most profitable sports program, or was it football program.

College football is not a make the fans happy sport. It's a part of it, but it's not the deciding factor.

Keep the tickets sold, keep us as a respectable program etc.

I want nothing more than to win championships, that's for sure. But don't go acting like Mike Hamilton is some jack ass. There are multiple groups of people to please.

If you got hired as the AD and said "We're firing Fulmer tomorrow" You just might get a quick exit out the door of your own.

I don't know if hated would be the right word. But you would be under extreme critism, that's for sure.

Right now, for sure. If next year is similar to the last 2 following SEC championship games, it may not be so difficult.

yeah i was in no way saying that MH should be fired. I don't love him or anything, but I know it's not as easy as the AD hiring and firing at will. I just feel like he's settling with being a pretty good football team. Maybe keep the check-writing pen in the holster as far as raises go for the staff, I don't know, I don't have his job and don't want it..I know I couldn't do it so I'm not gonna be ignorant and act like I have all the answers. Not implying that anyone here is doing that either, just saying.
