In that situation, yes. You have to allow the returner to field the ball, any contact before the ball hits the ground is a penalty.

I disagree, if a fair catch is called you should be allowed to catch it without contact. It's only a muff when it hits the ground.

Then why was DY allowed to be touched after catching the ball without a flag?
