Last night I played 3 matches (all Rumble Pit) and ended up with a K/D margin of +14 which isn't great by any means but it's pretty good, I suppose. Tonight I ended up playing a team slayer (2 guys left so it was 2 vs. 4) and 2 matches of Infection. I hate infection. Now my K/D margin is at -21. Those 3 matches (interspersed with other ones, but namely those 3) really did go that poorly.
Steep learning curve it seems and apparently I suck on all game types that aren't straight every man for himself rumble pit.
Pretty easy to get headshots with the DMR/Magnum. The DMR is far superior to the BR after playing a good bit of multiplayer. Haven't touched the campaign/forge/firefight yet, got in a few hours of matchmaking though late last night/early this morning. Love SWAT, disappointed there isn't a playlist for it yet.
Well, I mean single shot vs. burst fire. The BR is probably a better weapon. I just meant I prefer the DMR to the BR. Overall they're pretty well balanced as the DMR does more damage and the BR has a much faster rate of fire. It still only takes about 5 shots to take someone out with the DMR(headshots). It kicks ass in SWAT.Flat out untrue. The BR was easy to 4-shot most anybody on halo 2 and 3, and you're lucky if you get a kill with the DMR even after 6-7 shots. It takes more hits with the DMR than even the old covenant carbine did, and has a MUCH slower rate of fire if you want to be at all accurate.
