Halo: Reach

Halo isn't any more overrated than Call of Duty(which is milked much more than Halo). Both franchises need to die or seriously reinvent themselves, lump Guitar Hero and Rock Band in there as well.

Reach is supposed to use a new engine and blah blah blah, I expect more of the same which isn't necessarily bad. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. I'll likely pass though, sick and tired of these generic console FPS titles.

I really enjoyed Halo 3... until I got into COD4. Not sure I can go back to Halo after all the MW2. I originally liked the aiming system of Halo better, but now I'm more partial the the whole "being able to run" thing.

why would a successful video game series like Halo, CoD, or any of the above listed need to be reinvented considering the revenue they've brought in? not bashing your post, but that just doesn't make any sense.

It doesn't make sense, that's why these Publishers/Developers keep milking franchises. I just don't understand why people keep purchasing Halo and COD games. Honestly, I'm sure people are already preordering what's sure to be another generic, ****ty attempt at COD by Treyarch. COD's getting out of control, I suppose we can thank Activision for that. Why do people keep buying Guitar Hero titles? I don't get it.

But yeah, if it was making me money I'd milk a franchise all day.

Yeah, if I was the owner of Activision I would definitely milk it up. 60 bucks a game x a few million people nets me about ...a lot.

I watched the Vid Doc for Halo Reach on Xbox Live and it looks like they are working hard. I do like Bungie but I'm growing tired of the same Halo FPSs over and over.

Day one. Bungie definitely went all out with this one. Stoked for campaign and firefight with matchmaking, and forge world.

Thats actually pretty funny. How much is 99999 MSP's anyway in dollars

Went up a few weeks ago for reviewers to download with a code provided by Microsoft. Probably the first and last time they put games out for review via games on demand. Hackers had it almost instantly and started leaking stuff. I'd like to know if it's even possible to have that many Microsoft points underneath your account at that time/if you could even purchase it.
