I think its been as good as we could have hoped for. Stay in the rearview mirror. Run the ball, stay ahead in turnovers. Great showing so far. :clapping:

I believe if we had a kicker who could boot it in the endzone the score would not be what it is..they have had good field position and gerald jones stay in bounds come on baby...any thoughts on the kicker situation though?

I agree. I think Kiffin's play calling has been awesome and our D looks great. We've got the ball first in the second half so let's get after em. Go Vols

The O line came to play and Hardesty has looked great. Wish I could say the same for Gerald Jones. Please get these freshmen in the game. Teague is smarter than Jones.

And where is Brandon Warren and the fade when we need him? That 1st and goal from the four was a perfect place for that!

Special teams is killing us. We cannot let Florida start drives at the 40+ yard line if we want to stay in the game.

Our gameplan is sound. Even if we lose, I can't be critical. This is our best option.

Got to open the playbook up a little more in the 2nd half. Florida is daring us to throw it deep. Moore could have one big catch and turn this game in our favor.

Couldn't ask for a better first half. We're one bad route away from being tied...I'll take it. If you're a HS senior and don't want to play in this defense, then you're a complete idiot.

I think we did a great job in the first half. With a few plays going our way -- don't go out of bounds in the endzone and better special teams play -- this could be different.

Wow, what a hit by Jackson on James in the endzone. That saved a touch down!

Yeah it's obvious Jones is rusty and I'd like to see more of Teague. He easily had that TD. CLK's play calling has been great even with almost all runs on the first two drives. The D's been good but I wish they could've stopped a few 3rd and longs.

My only complaint is that we shouldn't be kicking it to James. Squib it and keep the ball away from him!

I think Thompson's back injury came on a dirty lick by a FL player WAY after the whistle had blown. Did anyone else see it? Florida's a bunch of dirtbags.

Jones is rusty. Let the guy who has been to more practice play. Or mix em around. Palardy should remedy our field position woes. But right now, we need to flip the field more often and force the fair catch or touchback

Somebody forgot to tell UT that they couldn't play against the mighty Gators.Win or lose today our boys have already done us proud.BTW Tebow, that guy wearing #14 is pretty good, might want to avoid him.

Where is Nuke? CLK said he wanted him to have a big impact on this game. Its hard for him to do that on the sideline..

*Play calling is VERY timid on offense
*Monte's worth every penny
*Tebow's giving "The Promise II" while I'm posting this
*To win this game, field goals won't cut it
*Florida could lose this game today
*Eric Berry makes me moist

I feel the same way i understand brandon james is a good football player but everytime he catches it i cant breath kick a squib or something i figured this coaching staff would have a better idea for james since the last couple years he has ripped us up and he is j missing one or two blocks from breaking another one

Beyond kicking it to James, I couldnt ask for a better first half, all things considered. It'd be nice if we could keep it up.

We at least need to STOP kicking it James' way.

My ONLY complaint. Great execution so far, although I thought Crompton had Cooper on the 3rd down & Goal, instead he held on too long but threw it to where only our guy could get it, not a bad play IMO, but could have been a great one had he thrown to the check down.
