By double digits, to a coach who sucks and wouldn't even sniff being hired by UT, and the worse UF team in arguably the last 20 years.

Not clowning you, just the other guy yapping.

Stop saying "double digits" like you pounded us by 3TD's, you won by 10pts.

Chump wouldn't come here because he is a pansy. He got one of the easiest jobs in college football at UF, already stocked-piled with crazy talent, hired some of the biggest names in football to work under him and he still can't win. It's going to be funny when we finish 6-6 just like UF with a harder schedule, less talent, and our top 4 players gone for most to all of the season. I predict you guys will be shopping for a new head coach in a couple years and wont be surprised to see the overrated Weiss canned before Chump is.

My bad. I didn't realize 10 points was double digits. I apologize. Moral victories and all are important I guess............

Yeah. Muschamp was foolish to pick Florida as a head football coach over TN.

Are you really that delusional? Do you know of any coach who would have said "I think I'll go to TN over Florida."

You are a hoot. I guess it doesn't matter that we are changing our entire offensive scheme, so he still should have won 10 games?

I could ask if you realize that Brantley missed half of our season, and Demps was out with injury too?

Naw, none of that matters. Excuses are for losers. You either win or you lose. Bottom line.

I think Florida, Muschamp or not, will be fine.

Moral victory? Never said anything of the sort. Nor did I challenge your assertion that 10pts isn't double digits. Your reaching there for those insults. Stop acting like 10pts is annihilating us though. Bring up the 59-20 or something if you wanna do that.

Based on the advantages of being at UF compared to UT, yea I could understand why someone would pick UF. We all understand the recruiting advantages there so no point to rehash. However, he didn't pick UF over UT because he didn't know the UF job would be available. He didn't want to bank his reputation on doing a complete rebuild here.. not many people would honestly, and this is why I have a lot of respect for Dooley.

Meyer went 9-3 in his first season at UF with a new offensive scheme and without Tebow. The talent level's are very similar, unless your going to argue that all of those top 5 classes of Meyer's didn't bring in any talent. So if new scheme and no talent aren't good excuses, what is Chump's? I'd argue it's because he is green and not a very good coach.

UF will be fine long-term, no doubt. I just don't think Chump and Weiss will be the guys at the helm. How long does Chump get before he's on the hot seat?

God post. Thank you for actually responding like an adult.

I think we have to give Muschamp until at least 2013. Anyone calling for his removal before then is being silly imo. Let him and Weis get the players they need to run the prostyle type offense, bigger backs, bigger OL, etc.

Our schedule this year was much harder than Meyer's first year. Muschamp had to play 3 of the last 4 national champions..........all in a row and with a true freshman QB starting in 2 of those games and half of the other one. FSU was worse in Meyer's first year than they are now, and Muschamp still has yet to play them. The talent level Meyer inherited on the 2005 team had better players at every offensive position except maybe running back.

You think Weis will stick around? That seemed like a odd move at the time and even more odd if he actually hung around for more than a couple of years. I have to admit when i heard him being announced as the new OC, i kind of scratched my head and thought it was rather odd.

No prob, no reason we can't be civil.

I'd imagine he gets till 2013 but no longer considering the amount of talent he inherited. Will he be on the hot seat next year if he wins less than 9 games?

I'm just curious to what the consensus opinion and reaction of gator fans will be in the short-term because he inherited so much talent. Expect 9 games next year?

i will only say the following....

florida and tennessee are both bad football teams.

when i watch florida and truly soak in just how bad florida is, i would truly be careful about any optimism heading into the 2012 season if i was a tennessee fan.

for two consecutive years, florida can't run the ball, can't pass protect, can't throw the ball, have trouble stopping the run, can't do a whole lot of things.

but, against tennessee, florida dominated the line of scrimmage, brantley was made to look like a competent quarterback, and the florida defensive line was made to look like an impenetrable stone wall.

so, bring up justin hunter all you want. bring up the final score being a 10 point game (like that was indicative of the game) if it makes you happy.

bottom line, looking back at the game in september and having the rest of the season to digest and reflect further, tennessee got its *** handed to them by a bad football team.......which tells me they have much farther to go than anyone would like to acknowledge

Did you forget that we lost to Florida earlier in the season?

I understand we lost to them. It's just funny that there are talking about us when they are bad too.

It would be like us posting will UF beat FSU this year and making insults about it. why??

Tennessee is going to be a lot better next year. Florida may improve, but I'm not so sure. Tennessee will close the gap defensively and be much better on offense.

If we play well we can win next year in Knoxville and we can beat Vandy this weekend. It's not a lock but our chances are a lot better with Bray.
