espn has run that piece that is supposedly a promotion for the network; in reality is a blatant Tide promo--FOUR times since 0800. Have you Vol fans had enough----yet? At this point, I am ready for something on Auburn, or heck-----USC. I realize UT is out of the question.:censored:

Somehow I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday. I actually think it's kind of funny too...in the make you wanna puke kind of funny.

I personally think that commercials like these should stop unless ESPN wants to make one for every college team and air them equally. Otherwise, it's just a recruiting advantage for the few teams that get constant publicity.

We had a "Rocky Top" promo but UT fans had it pulled.

If they did a commercial like that about Tennessee and made us look like a bunch of hillbilly tards like they do Alabamer fans, then everyone on here would complain ESPN is makin us look stupid. That said, I'm over the commercial, its played out!!

I think you're getting all worked up over nothing.

ESPN commercials have traditionally been some of the funniest, most creative made..this one included.

I'm just glad there isn't some "too many men on the field"/"game over-not game over" commercials directed at us...

I've had enough roll tide since the early 70s.

ESPN has the right to do whatever with the advertising dollars...but they overplay it HUGE. A little bias, no doubt...but it's their dollar to spend.

Once I got past my hatred, I found it quite funny. Just sucks that the first time I saw it air was during the MCB.

If you think that commercial helps with recruiting you're crazy. That commercial filled with red neck trash has people laughing at alabubba all over the country.

If, like someone said, the Bama commercial had a fan with dip in and talking in an outrageous redneck accent about trailer parks and squeezed a Roll Tide in there I'd just say it's a bunch of patronizing yankees. This pretty much singles out our fanbase as being ignorant hicks.

But, since Bama's non-stop commercial makes them look like a normal but obsessed fanbase and ours made us out to be ignorant hicks better suited on an episode of Jerry Springer... combined with Fowler's infamous comment... it's hard to ignore, honestly.

Well when we act lick a bunch of idiots like when Kiffin left then i do not think Tennessee will get a commercial like that. The Tide won the Championship last year i think that has something to do with it. If Auburn wins this year then maybe we will see a bunch of money put in the collection plate at that one church.
