It's the alternative to the Center looking between his legs for the snap signal, then raising his head and snapping it a second later. Either way the snap is somewhat telegraphed. Just a byproduct of the shotgun in a loud stadium.
Player said he noticed it in film study, so it was happening in the other games and Downs is not a true freshman.
Now this could be a valuable tool if Florida's players are looking for it....Bait them on a few plays that are not going to Downs, then on a key play look the other way and BOOM td, or underthrown behind the receiver incomplete...depending on who is qb.
