I haven't used the term Pong in a long time. I pledged at the end of 1994. Alpha Sig 937. How about you.

I was a Beta. However, my best friend was a Pong and I spent many a nights drinking in that house. I was down there so much by my senior year pledges asked me to sign their goat book thinking I was a AWOL brother.

a lot of older alums like to look nice when they go to a game. see lots of old friends, party up before the game and go out to the bars afterwards. especially the people that sit in the sky box. i think it looks good personally. better than some tool wearing some trailer park outfit to the game.

with that being said....

AS LONG AS YOUR WEARING ORANGE, I DON'T CARE WHAT IT IS YOUR WEARING!!!!!!!!!!!111!

Other than being a pledge what reason would someone have for getting suited up for a game? I would love to know. It seems irresponsible as a fan to wear something that restricts your ability to be a fan....

Rubbing elbows in the sky box seats? :) Just throwing that out there.

I got a few Sigma Chi pledges in trouble for signing their book.

That's the way it was done in the old days. Classy. I'm fine with it. You may have inspired me to throw on a tie for the 1st time to a game since my pledge days. Maybe in November...

southern tradition in my opinion, ole miss, alabama, and auburn rock it more than ut.
This... some of you guys just need to clean up, shower and shave and make your momma proud.

Wearing a tie or blazer doesn't make you more or less of a fan.

Dumb threads are dumb.

KA here. I wore a blazer and tie to games as a pledge. I will wear a bowtie at homecoming. Sorry that my attire and desire to loo presentable is so offensive to some of you.

Phi Delt from WKU here. I don't really understand the hatred on here either. Some of the fraternity guys are d-bags, but at the same time there are a lot of good guys in fraternities. It just depends on who you surround yourself with. I personally like dressing up a little for the games. I usually wear an orange and white polo with khaki shorts (knee length of course). I just feel like it's southern tradition to dress up a little.

At the end of the day fraternity's are about pooling money together to have big parties to attract large quantities of girls. It's similar to belonging to a hunting club.

If you can't understand that you are hopeless.

How does that read?

Frat's are groups like any other with students who share a common interest. They, like all college kids, are just trying to find their niche in this world.
