I agree with you 100%...

Very classless... and why I have very little respect for autograph whores.
I never said I wanted to sale it. I am very appreciative of the gift. I'm not a big memorabilia guy. Just wanted to find out if it might have any value and if the story behind the ball is true. The classless ones are those of you who continually bash every post out there that you may not agree with. I thought I would come to the Masters of the Vol Universe for some info on our beloved team, but I'm finding that most are opinionated ***holes.

That's what happens when we have a crappy football team. Sorta like a full moon to a werewolf....

Heyyyyy. Why am I getting the blame. I didn't hijack your thread and I'm not a bulldog.....
Wasn't trying to apply the blame your way. But you did point out the fact that the thread had been hijacked. I guess I should have posted something about my wishlist for a new coach. Our maybe I should have started the 500th thread about how emotional Fulmer was during the resignation. I was excited about receiveng the ball and was just looking for some info.

I recently received a gift from one of my employees. Apparently she is the cousin S. Bryson who played on the Championship Team. Well, knowing that I am a Vol Nut, she brought me a Football that had been left with her family. It is a small ball that supposedly was given to each of the players after the game so they could sign each others ball. It is normal leather on one side and white on the other. The white side side has the Tostitos logo with FSU vs. UT with the date. This side is signed by the following players.
Jermaine Copeland
Travis Henry
Shaun Bryson
T. Martin
Phillip Crosby
Mikki Allen
Corey Terry
Mercedes Henderson
Jarvis Reado
Jamal Lewis

I am curious if you guys have any idea of what it might be worth. What are the chances it really was a players ball. Anyone know if the players received these balls. Thanks for the help.

From selling sportscards and other memorablila I have collected over the yrs its only worth what someone is going to give you, but most college stuff is personalized because of NCAA rules so, if you wanted to look on ebay you could possibly get an Idea of a value. its just hard to tell, but I would have traded you my Steve Spurier signeed 1996 NC ball that was givin to My father in law about a month ago, but I sold it on Ebay for 500 smakers, and I am so glad that joke ball is gone , I dispise the gators and the OLE BALL COACH.

Although I appreciate that you would have traded me the Spurrier ball, it would have started a war at my house. I married into a Gator family, so I would have had my son kicking Field Goals with it in the back yard. And I doubt I would have traded a Dave Clausen Ball for Spurrier. I hate that man and the Gator's he created.

He did't create the gators, he just played there and coached there!!????

My guess not worth much unless you find someone wants it more than you .I doubt it would bring 50.00 on Ebay
