Well thats not going to happen. Im for Pruitt. But 9-3 is too high. Our O line will need another year of recruits. And our D Line will be starting over from scratch and that was basically our only bright spot at times this season.

Let’s just fire a brand new head coach that doesn’t have his own roster yet and was coming off the WORST football season in UT history.

Yeah, we had two bad losses in the end, we also beat two ranked teams.

But go ahead, let’s fire him. We fired the winningest coach in UT history to hire an ******* from California in a knee jerk reaction that paid off right?

Oh wait a minute, he left three weeks before signing day and killed our program in one year.

Let’s give this OP a prize for being a complete moron.

HOWEVER...must of us also realize that the OP is more than likely correct. Some just cant bring themselves to admit it. Too painful a thought at this point.

The Vols cannot tackle, plain and simple. Pruitt had spring and fall practice + a few early games to teach them to tackle. Even high school players know how to tackle.
What has Pruitt done with this team?. He got lucky beating two over ranked teams. At the end of the season, our players cannot block or tackle.
Pruitt has not made improvements IMHO.
The truth hurts . We are in for more misery.

I have zero confidence in anything good happening in the next 3 years. I wish I could pull a Rip van Winkle and wake up August 25 2022 and then see. And not be 4 years older.

If Pruitt gets fired after one year, talk about the coming of the end to our program, no coach, big name or up incoming one would touch this program. That would be too much pressure for a coach to take on. We are here until at least year 3 or 4.

You cant fire a coach every year, although he may deserve it. Team sucked, coaching sucked, the program is a steaming pile of excrement. I am close to giving up on Vol Football. half of the team already has, why not me too ?
