If we as a school ever fire a HC after his first year due to team performance, I am out as a fan.

Caveat: unless there are serious concerns regarding ethical conduct, hiding any illegal activities by players/coaches, or NCAA violations.

You're going to make things worse by firing a HC off of two Top 25 wins and a one game improvement in overall wins and 2 wins in the SEC

If you can him you might as well shut down the program. Absolutely nobody is going to coach here knowing that the ignoramuses in the fan base won't give them more than one season to prove themselves

Dumbest thread of the century. GBO!!!! Go get some real SEC players to go with the ones we got, we simply don't have enough. NOBODY could have made this offense go any better than it did. Our D simply got worn down because of a O-Line that isn't near a sec line and a qb that isn't a sec qb either. Neither JG or Keller are close to being a top sec qb, JG has to have perfect time and the perfect play if it isn't he can't make it, the speed of the game is too much for either one. Come on JT or Baher, we need a qb that can process things fast and get us out of bad plays. And we need at least 2 good recruiting classes. Everybody knew we were a 5-7 to 7-5 team at best going in, no after year 1 with a paper thin roster some want to fire Pruitt. Just go somewhere else and stop the stupid crap, he gets 3 years for sure to see if it's headed in the right direction. GBO!

Well I heard a announcer bragging about a team that finished with 9 wins for first time in 30 years. We had back to back 9 win seasons 2015 & 2016 and I was not satisfied and that was just 2 and 3 years ago. Never will be satisfied until we replicate 1998. Its been 20 years but that's why we are dumb we keep believing.

The only future excitement the fans have to look forward to, is the next head coach search! Why not cut out the middle seasons and get a head start?

I guess the only positive vibe the UT fanbase has experienced over the last 10 yrs is the rush of a coaching search. Gruden is a bust at Oakland lets starts some Grumors

He will get at least 4. Coach Pruitt should never bear the burden of carrying the major Screw ups that the Administration made during the last 11 years...If it is not change over a period of time in a methodical manner it will continue to be a vicious cycle....

We have had three coaches with zero leadership skills the last 10 years and they were selected by an Administration that was bought, had no clue what it took to deal with the Duties of Coaching, and was directed by donors who wanted control and gained say so by donations....

I agree.. We had clueless dipshats running things that people in here are still defending. You can't fix that.

Did you read how excited everyone got when they thought he was going to fire Helton and open up the coaching search for a new offensive coord? Well the defense was equally bad! Why not fire both? From of my years of observing this board, the majority of fans will fall in line and support whoever or whatever the next head coach is. Their loyalty for Pruitt will fade.

Im happy with Pruitt. I was scared to death we were going after Mullen. We dodged a bullet there.

Yes you are right also, can't fix their observations, but it is difficult to listen to the same argument over and over. Throw in the trolls and it's a mess. A lot of misconceiving, misdirection on this board....A ton of Spin.

Whether Pruitt is the guy or not, we are in a position we are going to have to ride this out. We, as fans, have no alternatives and no choices.

Two questions you may know the answer to or not:

Crouch's Assessment regarding the culture ---- True or False
Shy Tuttle's Assessment regarding players laying down----- True or False.
