Maybe they will fire you. Butch Jones left this mess. Pruitt has to build it back up. You know what. Alabama fans wanted to fire Saban the first two years he was there. Until he got his players in there. Now look at them. Pruitt is going to be just fine at Tennessee. But not with the type of players Butch Jones left here.

I wonder how Pruitt got his Georgia, FSU and Bama players to tackle correctly and not get blown off the ball?

We all know that Pruitt's contract will shield him until the end of the 2020 season so it's probably not going to accomplish anything by discussing replacing him other than to let the fans indulge in a catharsis. It's going to take a couple of more seasons for things to play out.

i don't know what people were expecting. the team is hot trash. i came in with optimism but saw the WV game and was "yeah, it's gonna be a long season".

nick satan went 6-6 at the evil empire, they lost to louisiana-monroe...

A decent coach can make great players look great but it takes a good coach to make mediocre players look decent. We don’t have a good coach.

Our plays on defense do not know how to play off a block. You do not let a blocker overwhelm you especially if the blocker is bigger. You learn or are coached to play off the block and not let him tie you up. I did not see one player this year on defense who seem to have the ability to do that on a consistent basis.

Yet as a rule... Pruitt players have been masters at that. I think we have to give him some time to develop skills and S&C before we decide the problem is him and not the roster Jones left.

I've never been a guy who talked in terms of 5 years much less more when it comes to giving a coach time. Pruitt is no better than any other hire. He needs to show improvement next fall and REAL improvement by year 3. This program and specifically the roster are in a deep, deep hole. Many here defended Jones but it seems pretty obvious now that he left the program worse than he found it... and it was a burning dung heap when he found it.

Ive said it for the past 10 plus years. Past performance is future expectations. Fans and loyalists are really tired of looking foolish year in and year out. As with anything that is serious, the buck stops here! If true for the president then CJP is no different.

Yeah turn in your VolNation card, also including everyone who likes that post. We have how many rings on staff? 11? What more do people want? We went 5-7, won two conference games, and if we opened with a cupcake instead of WVU we’re bowl eligible. Team is light years ahead of last year and we don’t have a cancer leading the team through the T on Saturdays.

Exactly I said don't get hyped but looked what happened people thought we truly had a chance to go bowling after we beat Kentucky. The fact is we played to our true skill level tonight and Vandy has better players and out played us bc of it. Our wins against Auburn and Kentucky was luck they were hurting.

Next year's schedule is winnable for the most part. Should be 3-0 by the time they head to Gainesville .

This year's sos was stupid hard for a first year coach whose talent went 4-8 under a dead beat and a joke for an interim coach.
