obviously you couldnt have because while malzahn was there arkansas went 10-3 and the next year with practically the same offensive players, they went 8-5... i touched on this in my original post so why dont you read that before you go posting ludicrous things....

Where's that "pot calling the kettle black" smiley when you need it?

Had we not been scheming around helping Jon Crompton gain confidence we could have scored a lot more points. Regardless, Tulsa outscoring UT isn't exactly a gigantic accomplishment.

So what? Tulsa's offensive talent from a personnel standpoint is on par with the rest of their conference. It's not like they're loaded with All-Americans or future NFL players and are just ripping through a feeble conference on talent alone.

from here in western arkansas, i've seen the whole nutt-malzahn soap opera up close. when nutt hired malzahn, he did so only to get his 5 D-1 players. his ego won't allow him to tolerate a good o.c. malzahn pimped his players to arkansas to get himself a college hitch. neither man was totally clean in what happened. regardless of that, malzahn is likely a top quality coach. i can only judge by results and whereever he's been, he's gotten them. that includes stints in the sec and at tulsa. it sounds a little idiotic to keep calling him a high school coach now. i really don't think he could have done any worse than what the vols have now.
