And? Have you ever been to Stillwater?

I've been to Stillwater twice. There is basically nothing there and not much in Oklahoma in general (the cool stuff is like a Phillips 66 museum, Cherokee history, Will Rogers museum, and OKC Thunder, and that's about it in the whole state...and few of those things are super close to Stillwater).

Better than Starkville, MS though.

Having an outside shot at 4th in the SEC?

The basket vols should not be the measuring stick.
4th in the SEC would be behind AL, GA, and Auburn or LSU. Not terrible, definitely top 25 every year. I would be pretty happy with that for a while.

Just more proof that the guy can coach up and develop players. Imagine what he could do with 4-5 star talent

That's a really dumb goal.

But worth pointing out this is the first year Barnes might even sniff 4th.

Gundy will absolutely kill it here if they can actually seal the deal.

You wanna get really excited take a look at Mason Rudolph and his stats.

Even Nick Saban would struggle recruiting in Stillwater. Gundy's recruiting doesn't bother me one bit. He's actually an above-average recruiter given that he's at OK State.

With two and three stars they are second in the nation with 46 ppg. For reference Tennessee is 118 and averages 17 ppg.

Gundy even turned undesired UT legacy Jalen McKlesky into a productive receiver with more yards than any of our current receivers. Even worse, he's their 3rd option. Their first 2 receivers have 1429 and 1049 yards.

But he wasn't good enough to get an offer from Butch. JJ was pretty vocal about that

The development of OK States roster is largely due to the work of Coach Glass and the strength and conditioning staff.

I said it in another... gundy is awesome, but getting Coach Glass would be GIGANTIC!!!!

I agree, Gundy would absolutely kill it at UT. And they can seal the deal if Currie will open the vault on the # 2 football revenue in the land and offer him the $$$ a coach of his caliber deserves.

Recruiting to UT will be considerably easier than Ok state. Not a ton of instate talent here(oklahoma) and OU snatches them up. He has to heavily recruit in Texas and that's after OU, Texas, and aTm have already picked thru them all.

Well, if you think Gundy is a hell of a coach, consider that he came in after Les Miles left and has barely improved over his long tenure there. I can't get excited about that track record.
