While not a nut, I do take credit for saying I carry extra ammo when going through Atlanta. Just deem it far more likely to be put in a bad situation in Atlanta than in east Tennessee. The probability is very low I would ever be in that situation, but should it occur, I do not want to be left in a position of saying I wish I'd grabbed that extra box of ammo. And I'm somewhat light in that regard based on what I know of friends and family of mine. Are you the nut who said he carries extra ammo when he has to travel through Atlanta. I've shared that story with a number of people and they all find it sad but hysterical.
Yeah, no. I haven't been through Atl in years. I guess I win another point.....calling names looth. you lose a life. Are you the nut who said he carries extra ammo when he has to travel through Atlanta. I've shared that story with a number of people and they all find it sad but hysterical.
I admit almost complete ignorance on the subject of guns, not on the subject of gun control - which just so happens to be what this thread is actually about. And yet you are in this thread arguing what is rational and reasonable while admitting almost complete ignorance on the subject.

Are you the loser lefty who drinks an extra glass or two of water before you go to work to have extra pee protection?
I don't live in fear like so many of you apparently do. I'm going to ATL Sunday to visit one daughter and Manhattan next weekend to visit the other.Yeah, no. I haven't been through Atl in years. I guess I win another point.....calling names looth. you lose a life.

Should I carry a gun in both socks and another in my waistband, or should two do the trick?
Absolutely. Knowledge about the issues surrounding the need for gun control and knowledge about guns aren't the same.So you think you have a valid opinion to control something you admittedly know nothing about.![]()

We have plenty of posters who know tons about guns and yet have a complete lack of understanding about the issues surrounding the need for gun control.
People who feel that their knowledge of guns somehow makes them experts on gun control are the ones that crack me up.

You mean like not understanding that magazine fed centerfire semi-autos were available to the US public in 1905 (decades before US servicemen were issued rifles on a similar platform) but now anything with similar attributes is some nigh demonic "weapon of war" in their minds? (That's not particularly aimed at Looth but yeah, ignorance of the subject matter makes for poor arguments on the subject. Like basically anything Biden has to say that's firearm related.)
