Gun control debate (merged)

Again ^^^^^^what to say when you have nothing to say^^^^^
And I know you and thinking don't go together.

There are rational and reasonable limits placed on who can purchase what and when.
To claim otherwise is simply moronic.
There is no clause in the 2A for rational and reasonable.

My rational and reasonable restrictions are two fold.
1. Same restrictions on all rights.
2. All non active-duty-military branches of our government are limited to the same restrictions as civilians when it comes to ownership, buying keeping, and carrying. Numbers, calibers, add ons. Same with any security given to our politicians.

As I have stated you don’t have to get into the specifics of what your fun gun is and get all mad they gonna take my guns that evil gubberment!! Nobody is gonna take your guns relax you will be able to sleep with your precious AR tonight. Anything over a standard shotgun or hunting rifle should be banned for sale to the public. How hard is that to understand??? That’s the bill I would push and pass. It’s my viewpoint and my stance on it. But call me a troll because my views are different than yours so mature but this how this is how this board works I know a bunch of toddlers with a 8 year old mindset.
No one is going to take your guns. Very next sentence we are going to ban your guns.

"No one is going to take your guns."
Advocates for strict gun control.

"No one is going to ban abortion nationally."
Republicans in the House introduce national abortion ban.

"No one is going to ban contraceptives."
Marsha Blackburn says birth control should only be available to married couples.

"No one is going to criminalize abortion."
Texas immediately tries to criminalize abortion.

"Nobody is going to ban interracial or gay marriage."
Indiana Republican thinks we should revisit that.

"No one is going to make homosexuality illegal."
Texas AG says he can argue that it should be.

"Nobody is ruling against your right to privacy."
Scotus states you have no right to privacy.

I'm noticing a pattern here...

Seems to be. We've got some states making very draconian moves on gun control, while other states want to police what two consenting adults do in their bedroom. And SCOTUS said, "lol privacy, what's that? FU lol" So get ready for more of this in the coming years.

You're pissing up a rope. South Africa has some of the toughest gun laws on earth, and they just had 2 mass shootings. 3D printing will ensure that any type of firearm can be manufactured by underground, small scale manufacturers. Gun control doesn't work, and it never will. An evil person will get what they want in the end to hurt innocent people. SCOTUS will also make sure that some of these bans will never happen.

Life would be simpler, and better, if we all just minded our own business and left other people alone.

The arrogance and ignorance of thinking we know what's better for someone else not in our lives is astounding.

A pattern of lies and disinformation?

Fact Check-Sen. Marsha Blackburn did not call to limit contraception only to married couples

I’m sure the twatter and Facebook fact checking SS will be real quick to clean this one up.
My favorite is Snopes.

Claim: Fox News rightly states the sky is blue.
Our Rating: Needs Clarity. We aren’t sure exactly what color the sky was when this claim was made. Further investigation is needed.

Claim: The NY Times rightly states the sky is green with yellow stripes and it’s farting rainbow sprinkles from the clouds.
Our rating: True. While we could not verify the claim, given The NY Times long history of always being honest, we feel comfortable rating their claim as true.

It appears in a true masa shooting scenario you had one of the rare instances where there was an armed civilian on hand. How did it turn out versus mass shootings without armed civilians around?

Like teachers or kids carrying guns? GTFO. Last thing we need is guns loose in elementary schools.
