I'll be here waiting for one of the resident gun-grabbers to explain which of the four purchased firearms are considered "assault rifles."
I'm not seeing any long guns listed there, that's what the media initially reported.
My sarcasm is lost once again. The press were claiming that the shooter had a "long gun" then they changed it to an assault rifle. Along the way "long gun" got replaced with assault rifle. Back in my day there were only rifles and hand guns.Well the 700 is definitely a rifle and depending on chambering could certainly be considered "high power".
It sounds very much like the people trying to control the narrative are (probably intentionally) are conflating an AR'ish pistol carbine and "high power rifle" together to present the "idea" of an "assault rifle" being used.

Agreed, although the 700s were popular sniper rifles, along with the Winchester Model 70.I mean, I guess a PCC would be considered a "long gun," albeit really in its own category. Certainly nothing on the list would qualify as an assault rifle or "weapon of war."
