None of those are surprising. They’re basically going to create a law that 3 of our constitutional amendments tell us would be illegal. At what point do we say enough of this BS?

The usual suspects. All need to go.

You have inspired me.

I do aim to please, or even displease, even if in an unspectacular or contrary fashion. Just trying to do my part in adding some flavor, whether or not it's to the liking of some folks. 'Sides, it's quite entertaining. Yes Suh!

I am. Look, now you have another justification for living in irrational fear.

It has nothing to do with irrational fear. I'm afraid of lightning and water moccasins. I have good reason for both.

You...or luther? I worry more about a wet fart than either of you two. I only asked if it would be you or luther so I would know which flavor of White Claw to have on hand when you arrived.

Go look for another Internet Tough Guy to argue with. That's not me. But I'd love to see some of the VN gun grabbers put their ass where their mouth is. You and luther included. Easy to run your mouth reckless when it's not you who has to go do the dirty work.

Neither one of you, IMO, has what it takes to do what you seek.

I don’t think you have the capacity to do very much, in many senses… but then again, I don’t know you.

When people are fighting for their freedom and know that they stand a good chance of losing their lives, even the untrained have the capacity to do severe damage. Look at places like Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and now the Ukraine. Our government is fully aware what can happen if they take on the 2nd Amendment, and that’s the only thing stopping them.

Your bigotry is exposed. In the midst of your sentence, you capitalized "Cowboys" while small lettering "indians." Cowboys, being a regular noun, and not at the start of a sentence, while Indians is, all-be-it, a misnomer, is still a proper noun, denoting a race of people. As soon as I saw this, I got a rude reminder of the mindset of the person who had posted. I knew further attempted discourse with you was beyond futile. And yet, because unlike Ole Northie, you do provide me with worthwhile writing material. Though, as usual, you missed the point of (more likely selectively read) my post. So thank you all the same. I can always count on you folks to be entertaining, and providing both starting point and dialogue ideas for my project. Thanks.

Ole @hog88 can't get anything by you, can he?

what the bloody hell. lol.

This really shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone following the case. (though I believe there were a couple people convinced it wouldn't go this way for some reason)

I haven't really dug into it yet but I'm assuming there is still leaway in a state's ability to vet licensees, IL's FOID card for instance, but this decision does disambiguate that carrying for personal defense outside the home is a right and not merely government largesse.
